Attendance

Regular attendance is essential if a student is to make satisfactory progress. This is recognised in the Education Reform Act 1990, which requires that students attend regularly and stipulates that rolls be carefully maintained and regularly checked.

Roll call is held each morning from 8:50 am until 9am in the hall. Late students must report to the main office upon arrival to school in order to sign in. Teachers mark their own rolls during each lesson.

Students who are absent should provide a note explaining their absence upon their return to school.
